This fantastic new tulip was first shown at Holland’s Keukenhof gardens in 2012. Sundowner’s plush, peony-like flowers are a striking combination of cherry red, rose and soft yellow. Over time, the colors intensify like a sunset, until the blossoms are almost entirely red. Be sure to plant extras so you can enjoy them in a vase as well as in your garden.
