Ask flower farmers to list their 10 most reliable dahlias and many will include Cornel. Like other ball types, these 3-4″ blossoms are perfectly round and tightly packed with petals. They are almost impervious to bruising and last at least a week in a vase. The color is ruby-red without a hint of orange or violet. These bushy, 4-foot plants pump out an incredible number of flowers with long, sturdy stems.
